The Tabernacle is a place for God to dwell. So if God dwells there then we are to meet Him where He is. The Table of Shewbread is a picture of Christ and the provision that we have in that meeting.
Exodus 25:23-30 is the primary text.

Exodus 25 brings the Tabernacle into the planning stage and the purpose is to set the stage for God to dwell among His people. The first item is the Ark of the Covenant where God will speak to men. It pictures humanity covered by God’s holiness and the Mercy Seat is the pure gold beaten into shape.
This is part one. Next week we will be looking at the things that were kept in the Ark, the manna, Aaron’s rod, and the tables of the covenant. So, keep an eye out for part 2.

This is part of our study of the Tabernacle from Exodus 25-40. The main point is that there is a pattern to be followed for the Tabernacle to be built God’s way and we are the living tabernacle/temple of God who dwells in us. Therefore we must build our lives on the foundation of God’s word so we build according to the pattern God desires.
Main Text is Exodus 25:1-20
Sub-texts are: 1:Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20, 2 Corinthians 6:14-18
